  • Implementation and monitoring of an effective internal control environment and management of financial systems.

  • Effectively control working capital.

  • Ensure compliance with all HMRC regulations.

  • Manage, lead and develop a small team.

  • Curious - explore ways in which different business levers can be pulled to improve financial performance.

  • Smart - up to date knowledge of the latest accounting standards.

  • Responsible - take ownership of company wide and departmental KPIs.

Required Experience

We’d love to see someone who can demonstrate:

  • ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA qualified.

  • Experience within a similar role, ideally within a scale up environment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a can do and positive approach.

  • A natural self starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

  • Highly analytical and extremely organised.

  • Proficient with common business systems and tools.
