Purpose of the Role
To drive new business growth and successfully generate sales of our world leading enterprise AI system.
Peak is one of the hottest & fastest growing startup tech companies in the UK. Since being founded in 2014, we have experienced rapid growth in line with the world’s fastest growing SaaS companies and strong market demand. As a pioneering artificial intelligence company, we are on a mission to become the World’s leading AI business. Our customers include established FTSE 250 retailers, manufacturers and well-known brands alongside highly innovative and tech-savvy businesses. We have won an impressive list of awards and are also an Advanced Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner with Machine Learning Competency status.
With all the hype around AI, Peak is at the forefront of delivering meaningful business results through our AI System and configurable solutions. With an impressive list of case studies and references from enterprise clients, Peak has developed significant product market fit over the past four years and is perfectly placed to achieve global success, as AI adoption becomes commonplace. Peak’s next stage of growth involves moving into the US market and so an opportunity has arisen for a US Commercial Manager to drive our business expansion. In the near future we will be looking to open our first US office, but until then this role will be home & field based around Philadelphia and the East Coast.
We are looking for commercially-minded people who have consistently delivered year on year revenue growth and who can reference strong customer relationships. Based remotely in Philadelphia, we’re looking for someone who can develop and execute a US sales strategy successfully with a focus on achieving pipeline generation (supported by marketing, alliances and sales development) and sales targets. Reporting to the Commercial Director (based in the UK), the successful candidate will identify, establish and develop relationships with new potential customers in the US.
You will work as part of a close commercial team helping and sharing success with each other and developing Peak’s overall commercial strategy. As you will be working with an established team in the UK, you will need to be an effective communicator who is comfortable working remotely in a different time zone, taking ownership to develop strong working relationships via VC and digital channels within the sales team and beyond.
Being one of our first roles out in the US, you will also have shared responsibilities for driving cultural values in the new working environment - leading by example and being a true advocate of the Peak values in the US.
