Peak’s next stage of growth involves moving into the US market and so an opportunity has come up for our first US marketing hire to spearhead all demand generation activities stateside. In the near future we will be looking to open our first US office, but until then this role will be home & field based in Philadelphia.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded enterprise B2B SaaS marketer who wants to make their mark at Peak, and to trail blaze our US entry.
Based remotely in Philadelphia, we’re looking for someone who can make an impact in a nascent market where it’s all to play for. Reporting to the Head of Demand Generation (based in the UK) the successful candidate will create, execute and manage multi-channel demand generation campaigns for Peak, spanning across different levels of the Prospect/Customer funnel.
We are looking for a seasoned professional when it comes to event planning and execution, partner marketing initiatives, and working within marketing automation tools such as Pardot or Marketo. As you will be working with an established marketing team of 8 in the UK, you will need to be an effective communicator who is comfortable working remotely in a different time zone, taking ownership to develop strong working relationships via VC and digital channels within the marketing team and beyond.
You will have the opportunity to own the regional analysis and reporting on campaigns metrics - being measured on (but not solely) pipeline generated, attribution of activities and account engagement through campaigns. Large partners will provide a great opportunity for Peak to scale in the US and you will be the primary liaison with their marketing functions. Being one of our first roles out in the US, you will also have shared responsibilities for driving cultural values in the new working environment - leading by example and being a true advocate of the Peak values in the US.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Background in enterprise SaaS technology.
Has an understanding of the retail sector.
Must be a self starter to work in a scale-up environment, where processes are still being defined, particularly as this will be one of the first hires in the US.
Demonstrable experience as a multi channel marketer - Understands the value of multi-touch attribution and strategic vs tactical campaigns.
Experience running joint partner marketing campaigns.
Has gravitas to engage and negotiate with stakeholders across business and can influence decision making processes with evidential reasoning.
External stakeholder management - Partners are extremely important to us however require careful handling.
Is an effective remote worker with great communication skills.
Experience working for a scaling SaaS entrant in the US market is advantageous but not required.
A nice to have but not essential would be some understanding of Big Data, AI, predictive analytics or associated equivalent.
Reporting skills - Creates and advises on the analysis of marketing effectiveness in the US.
Comfortable hosting and managing Peak owned events and exhibiting events.
