The Opportunity

Peak is one of the hottest & fastest growing start up tech companies in the UK. Since being founded in 2014, we have experienced rapid growth in line with the world’s fastest growing SaaS companies and strong market demand. As a pioneering artificial intelligence company, we are on a mission to become the World’s leading AI business. Our customers include established FTSE 250 retailers, manufacturers and well-known brands alongside highly innovative and tech-savvy businesses. We have won an impressive list of awards and are also an Advanced Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner with Machine Learning Competency status.

With all the hype around AI, Peak is at the forefront of delivering meaningful business results through our AI System and configurable solutions. With an impressive list of case studies and references from enterprise clients, Peak has developed significant product market fit over the past four years and is perfectly placed to achieve global success, as AI adoption becomes commonplace. Peak’s next stage of growth involves moving into the US market and so an opportunity has come up for our first US marketing hire to spearhead all demand generation activities stateside. In the near future we will be looking to open our first US office, but until then this role will be home & field based in Philadelphia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded enterprise B2B SaaS marketer who wants to make their mark at Peak, and to trail blaze our US entry.

The Role

Based remotely in Philadelphia,  we’re looking for someone who can make an impact in a nascent market where it’s all to play for. Reporting to the Head of Demand Generation (based in the UK) the successful candidate will create, execute and manage multi-channel demand generation campaigns for Peak, spanning across different levels of the Prospect/Customer funnel.

We are looking for a seasoned professional when it comes to event planning and execution, partner marketing initiatives, and working within marketing automation tools such as Pardot or Marketo. As you will be working with an established marketing team of 8 in the UK, you will need to be an effective communicator who is comfortable working remotely in a different time zone, taking ownership to develop strong working relationships via VC and digital channels within the marketing team and beyond.

You will have the opportunity to own the regional analysis and reporting on campaigns metrics - being measured on (but not solely) pipeline generated, attribution of activities and account engagement through campaigns. Large partners will provide a great opportunity for Peak to scale in the US and you will be the primary liaison with their marketing functions. Being one of our first roles out in the US, you will also have shared responsibilities for driving cultural values in the new working environment - leading by example and being a true advocate of the Peak values in the US.

Personal Skills

We are building the fastest, smartest, most determined team in the enterprise AI space. Peak's growth has been fuelled by our values that underpin everything we do, here's how they relate to the role:

  • Open - a key member of the Peak team, with flexibility, positive and resilient nature. It’s not going to be a straight-forward path to achieve in a very competitive US market so someone is a go-getter and up the challenge.

  • Straightforward - outcome focused mindset and delivers analysis, plans and propositions that are aligned to Peak commercial plan.

  • Driven - being a remote field-based role, we need someone with bags of self drive & motivation.

  • Curious - keeps up to date with latest tech news, launches and product updates as well as regional business news.

  • Smart knows our customers/potential customers very well & this is demonstrated in the evolution of the Peak propositions; through the ability to conceive and deliver unique solutions to challenges even when plan A doesn’t fit anymore.

  • Responsible - believe in being great not good. Always striving to develop themselves, personally and professionally.

Required Experience

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Background in enterprise SaaS technology.

  • Has an understanding of the retail sector.

  • Must be a self starter to work in a scale-up environment, where processes are still being defined, particularly as this will be one of the first hires in the US.

  • Demonstrable experience as a multi channel marketer - Understands the value of multi-touch attribution and strategic vs tactical campaigns.

  • Experience running joint partner marketing campaigns.

  • Has gravitas to engage and negotiate with stakeholders across business and can influence decision making processes with evidential reasoning.

  • External stakeholder management - Partners are extremely important to us however require careful handling.

  • Is an effective remote worker with great communication skills.

  • Experience working for a scaling SaaS entrant in the US market is advantageous but not required.

  • A nice to have but not essential would be some understanding of Big Data, AI, predictive analytics or associated equivalent.

  • Reporting skills - Creates and advises on the analysis of marketing effectiveness in the US.

  • Comfortable hosting and managing Peak owned events and exhibiting events.

  • Opportunity to market a one of its kind, category defining product in the AI System, and be part of a business who is trailblazing in the enterprise AI space.

  • Opportunity to travel to Peak HQ in the UK.
  • Opportunity to help scale Peak in the US and make a large impact in a fast-growing company with global ambitions.

  • 25 days paid annual leave plus statutory days.
  • Competitive compensation package, medical insurance, options & pension.

  • Deliver meaningful AI solutions to solve a business’ most complex problems - we will help you develop skills and experience essential in the modern economy.

  • A fantastic working environment with open communication channels, flat hierarchy and a truly collaborative style.

  • Peak has a strong culture that we live by, based on shared values: we are open, straightforward, smart, responsible, curious and driven.

  • Opportunity to be the first marketing hire in the US for Peak, and so is a great way to establish yourself in a fast growing business and be a key player in taking Peak global.

  • A chance to figure out what works and what doesn’t, then create processes to make this scalable.
