Inclusion and Diversity at Peak

Our mission at Peak is to help businesses do great things with AI - we are the innovators, the disruptors and the game changers. Diverse and inclusive companies will drive the fourth industrial revolution - and we will lead from the front.

Over the next 5 years, we need more than words to create a stronger company and a fairer society, which is why Peak are committed to not only creating an amazing place to work, but a diverse and inclusive one too.

We want to create awesome teams and leadership, where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work and their ideas to solve the complex problems for the companies and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity

Peak are a Decision Intelligence company - we are on a mission to help organisations use AI to make great commercial decisions, all the time. Just as importantly, we are also focused on building an amazing company - one where we truly value our people & culture, and strive to make an amazing and diverse place to work. Our recent Best Companies award & 3 star accreditation for being one of the top companies to work for is a testament to this.

We have ambitious plans over the coming years; to launch and lead a new category of technology (Decision Intelligence), expand our operations and create the best working culture possible. To do so we need the best people and best processes to bring those people to Peak. That’s where you come in – we are looking for a super-organised, proactive and engaging Talent Manager to join our growing People team.

This is a great time to join Peak as we start the next stage of our growth into the US. You’ll not only get to bring great people into our business, but also help to work with our global talent team in scaling a recruitment function and shape our talent strategy.

The Role

We are looking for someone who will “own” the attraction, selection and retention of candidates for a variety of roles across North America. This will be our first talent hire in the US so you will need to be a self-starter, have a strong understanding of best in class recruitment practices and employment law and be able to create the best possible recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

You’ll work with other members of the People team across all of Peak’s offices to ensure candidates are recruited and on-boarded in the best possible manner, supporting all recruitment channels to help the business meet its hiring plan and diversity agenda. You will be involved with promoting the Peak employer brand for North America in the wider market and forming relationships with third parties.

You will also be involved with helping to screen and interview prospective candidates as well as grow Peak’s talent pipeline and network. As the People department grows, there will be a wide range of opportunities for development and specialisation.

Personal Skills

We’re looking for someone with experience recruiting across North America who is able to attract and assess candidates from both a technical and cultural perspective. Peak's growth has been fuelled by our values that underpin everything we do, here's how they relate to the role:

  • Open - True team player who works well across the business and supports colleagues.
  • Driven - Knows the sector well, able to understand the needs of Peak and can match that to the candidate market.
  • Curious - In the know – keeps up to date with latest tech and talent developments, bringing that knowledge into Peak.
  • Smart -  Able to conceive and deliver unique solutions to challenges.
  • Responsible - Outcome focused ensures that Peak can deliver on it's roadmap from a people perspective.

Required Experience

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in commercial recruitment (sales, marketing & customer success), talent attraction – either agency or in-house would be an advantage.
  • Experience of the tech sector and start up/scale up environment would be ideal.
  • A passion for creating talent pipelines, networks and a competitor market map and attending industry specific events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with an even temperament and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to mix long-term strategic work with short-term priorities.
  • An appreciation of the opportunity and potential for the AI/data sector.
  • Strong admin and organisational skills– ideally helping to build new processes and systems.

    Benefits

    • Opportunity to help scale Peak and make a large impact in a fast-growing company with global ambitions.
    • Opportunity to sell a one of its kind, category defining product in the AI System, and be part of a business who is trailblazing in the enterprise AI space.
    • Competitive compensation package, share options, 401k pension, private medical cover and generous vacation entitlement.
    • Deliver meaningful AI solutions to solve a business’ most complex problems  - you will develop skills and experience essential in the modern economy.
    • A fantastic working environment with open communication channels, flat hierarchy and a truly collaborative style.
    • Peak has a strong culture that we live by, based on shared values: we are open, straightforward, smart, responsible, curious and driven.
