The Role

While we believe the Peak platform offers class-leading capabilities, we know the landscape for Decision Intelligence is changing fast.  Therefore, it's important we are aware of emerging direct competitors and technologies in adjacent verticals.  The Competitor Analyst role will be crucial to understanding the ever-changing competitor landscape and using that insight to inform our product strategy, roadmap and commercial positioning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Peak’s key competitors by continually monitoring the tech market and tracking changes and additions in the space we occupy.
  • Perform in-depth technical analysis of competitors features and capabilities. Identify their key strengths and differentiators.
  • Critically evaluate the relative strength of each feature in the Peak platform in the context of the competitor landscape.
  • Create reports of your findings, identify actions that inform the Product team’s strategy and roadmap.
  • Work closely with Product marketing to translate your findings into clear and compelling collateral to support both marketing and sales enablement.
  • Present your insights to senior leadership across Peak on a regular basis.  Be the go-to subject matter expert on the technical capabilities of our competitors.


Skills & Experience

We are building a world class, global Product team and are looking for a first principles thinker with great market insight and the ambition to work on a cutting edge product. 


  • A proven track record of working in an analyst role, producing insights that influence commercial decision makers.
  • Strong experience of performing competitor analysis of software products, ideally with a B2B SaaS focus.
  • Skilled at critically analysing the capabilities of technology products through reviewing documentation and hands-on assessment.
  • Excellent writing and presentations skills.  Ability to communicate your views in a compelling and insightful manner.
  • Ideally, hands-on experience of using data, analytics or data science technologies.
  • Great people skills and able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic SaaS scale-up environment.
