The Opportunity

The communications team is a very new function so there is plenty of opportunity for you to get stuck in and help shape strategy and processes. We have lots to tackle in 2022... first stop, building the Decision Intelligence (DI) category!


What’s in a category?


Decision Intelligence is a new way of thinking about Artificial Intelligence (AI), it addresses the problems faced by businesses looking to deploy AI and, as such, is how most businesses will adopt AI. 


Imagine running a business without the internet, or a CRM. In 10 year’s time, the thought of running a business without a DI platform will be just as unfathomable. And you will play a key role in helping the world to understand that; you’ll be engaging with press, influencers, policymakers and customers and to help tell them what DI is and why it matters. 


Your purpose


When Peak speaks, anywhere globally, you will almost certainly have had a hand in how that sounds. You’ll be executing Peak’s global communications strategy across EMEA and the US, leading on category content production, overseeing social media and supporting internal communications. You’ll be working as part of a cross functional team, pitching in where you can and learning as you go (we’re treading new ground here, it’s all hands on deck!). 


Your role 


Reporting into the Head of Communications, and working closely with the Category, Brand, People and CEO teams, you will have global scope in this role. You’ll be a custodian of our brand, taking responsibility for social media, supporting on internal communications and ensuring continuity across Peak comms. You’ll have a hand in developing and delivering the category content strategy, and will work with agency PR teams to drive awareness of the Peak’s brand, product and spokespeople.


Key responsibilities 


  • Develop and implement category campaigns, reporting on their effectiveness. 
  • Write press releases, thought leadership, white papers, case studies, paid category content and other communications as required. 
  • Manage media buying for category campaigns.
  • Own global organic social media strategy, working with the Demand Generation team to align with paid social campaigns. 
  • Support local Brand and Social Media Managers in the production of content for their local markets.  
  • Working with the People and CEO teams to refine and deliver internal communications for an international team of 250+ spread across six clubhouses. 
  • Support the Head of Communications with the day-to-day running of global PR. 
  • Build and own meaningful relationships with target media. 
  • Work with the events and PR teams to coordinate speaking and interview opportunities for spokespeople. 
  • Represent Peak at relevant industry events. 
  • Support the wider Peak team with messaging and content as required. 



Required experience


  • Experience in a PR, communications or a content role. 
  • Proven ability to communicate technical subject matter to a lay audience. 
  • Excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience developing and delivering a social media strategy. 
  • Good eye for detail. 
  • Strong interest in and understanding of AI or the wider tech sector.
