The Purpose

This role will form part of the Peak US Commercial Team supporting our US Commercial Manager to build pipeline and support the growth of Peak’s customer base in North America. 

The Role

You will have the opportunity to be a part of the win team who has been hand picked by Peak to grow our presence in the US, this is a new region for us and therefore an opportunity to set the foundations for future growth. It will give you the opportunity to take your sales career to the next level by facilitating your own ‘first calls’ and learn how to pitch Peak in front of senior stakeholders with the support of the US win team behind you.

You will be the go to person for all things Sales Development in the US. Working with the Marketing and Partnerships team to co-create messaging and take ownership on reporting key metrics to the business, whilst also being involved in implementing the US strategy for Sales Development, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the US Commercial Manager to qualify all US leads using our chosen sales qualification criteria to ensure all opportunities are qualified to a high standard.
  • Work with our Marketing and Partnerships team to help shape campaign strategy and messaging  
  • Where further qualification is required facilitate your own first calls with prospects before handing over to a Commercial Manager
  • Take ownership of reporting all top of funnel activity and opportunities in the US weekly and monthly meetings
  • Create and implement a repeatable follow-up cadence for engaging with all leads using Salesloft
  • Work with our Partnerships team to identify areas of opportunity within AWS that could result in new meetings

Required experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales related role such as outbound marketing, sales pitches, prospect research, general business development is required, experience in selling enterprise software would be an advantage but not essential.
