The Role

In this role you will be part of a growing people team, with huge potential for development as the team grows. You’ll gain exposure to the full range of HR disciplines and have the opportunity to take responsibility for our people processes and make a difference by continuously improving them, all whilst working as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for ensuring People administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner, as requested by members of the People team and the wider Peak team. This could be People Ops, L&D, Talent and beyond!
  • Ensure that team birthdays, work anniversaries (Peakiversaries!) and other life events are celebrated so that all Peaker’s have an amazing experience. 
  • Create offer letters and contracts as required.
  • Prepare other People Team correspondence including leaver letters, employment references, visa applications etc.
  • Initiate the reference and background checks for candidates. Ensure that references are completed ahead of the start date and that the People Ops Manager / People Business Partner is updated.
  • Be responsible for keeping all of our People Team Trackers up to date - (Leavers, New Joiners, IT equipment etc.)
  • Raise support tickets as required to ensure relevant system access changes for any joiners, role changes or leavers.
  • Ensure that Bamboo is kept up to date with any changes, correspondence and benefit information.
  • Ensure that People Directory - Handi is kept up to date with all relevant changes.
  • Provide support with the implementation of a new HR system, to include uploading data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Administrative support on ad hoc projects and any other tasks for the People Team as required.

  • Driven - a self-starter eager to learn new skills and become involved in people initiatives across the business.
  • Curious - offers suggestions for improvements to current processes and takes responsibility for implementing them. 
  • Smart - excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Endeavours to find solutions to any challenges. Thinks creatively about all things people.
  • Responsible - integrity when handling confidential and sensitive personal information.

Required experience:

  • Administrative experience in a commercial environment, ideally within an HR team
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Great IT skills, i.e experience creating and maintaining documents in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.
  • Confident in communicating with candidates and team members at all levels.
  • Experience of using a company management system
