The Purpose

To be a trusted advisor, who enhances decision making throughout the company and supports the success of Peak’s strategy.


The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to be an important part of a successful, growing, tech start-up. You will play an integral role in scaling the Peak finance function ready for our ambitious plans, whilst helping to meet the challenges of global expansion.

You will form a key member of the team focused on achieving our future fundraising requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of company objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
  • Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections and operating forecasts.
  • Support the management team with data-driven, meaningful and insightful analysis.
  • Analyse the trends and drivers of Key Performance Indicators and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.
  • Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports, both company wide and of specific teams.
  • Transform data flows to support current and future reporting needs.
  • Benchmark Peak’s performance compared to best in class SaaS performance and recommendation of required actions.

Required experience:

  • Experiences within a similar role, ideally within a SaaS / scale up environment
  • Experience of creating detailed financial models on excel / google sheets
  • Active involvement as a member of the team with an ability to see beyond the finance role and beyond the numbers
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and reporting, across several financial / data systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a can do and positive approach.
  • A natural self starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly analytical and extremely organised.
  • Relevant financial qualification (ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA)
