The Purpose


Our Events at Peak are a chance for customers, prospects and other members of our community to interact and learn with Peak - We want to make AI as accessible as possible and events play a huge part of that.


Events for Peak fall into different camps - lead generating, brand and category awareness, customer advocacy, partnership and knowledge sharing events. Many of our events are the first contact people have with Peak, and therefore this role is responsible for showcasing the very best of the Peak brand.


We run our own events and also sponsor and speak at external events. They come in the form of webinars, roundtables, podcasts, conferences, dinners, and more.



The Role


  • An exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in Peak’s ever-expanding events strategy - Peak owned events, sponsored events and partner events. (AltitudeX, Masters of AI, Ensemble, Podcast)
  • The chance to own the physical face of Peak - working closely with our brand team to establish our events “feeling” we leave our attendees with.
  • Supporting the US sales team to build Peak’s lead generating, prospect acceleration and customer event series. Being accountable for what our events are delivering from an acquired pipeline perspective.
  • Gain valuable experience across different disciplines of marketing in a fast paced SaaS scale-up, including digital advertising, social media engagement, demand generation and brand - our events often are part of a wider campaign - so a fantastic opportunity to learn.
  • The opportunity to join a high-performing, fast-growing marketing team at an exciting time of expansion for the business and work closely with colleagues based in other regions of the world (India & UK) - working with the UK Events Manager, sharing learnings and getting global exposure.
  • Help to drive new business leads and enquiries for Peak by exploring sponsorships opportunities that give us access to major enterprise businesses across multiple sectors



Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and strategize US events at Peak, internal and external
  • Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery
  • Work with US Demand Generation to come up with the event strategy - what is driving conversion at the events
  • Produce post-event evaluations to inform future events and creatively iterate how events help us achieve our objectives.
  • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
  • Delivering US events that meet (and hopefully exceed) performance expectations
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Responsible for US Events MQL, First Meet and Pipeline targets
  • Communicating, maintaining and developing supplier, partner and/or customer relationships
  • Excellent Internal Stakeholder management - We love events.
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Project managing and providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to the team involved in each project
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish
  • Ensuring excellent service and quality delivery of every event


  • Research opportunities for new events and research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices, including travelling to onsite inspections 
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns around the event, including writing and setting up pre- and post-event email communication & coordinating this with SDR outreach  
  • Be the point person for all in-person events and have the technical skill to host digital events 
  • Liaise with digital marketing & content team members to publicize and promote an event



Personal skills:


Open - Maintain contact with other regional marketing and sales teams to ensure content aligns with wider priorities.

Driven - Be motivated to develop, innovate & drive our event strategy. You will have to figure out the questions as well as the answers.

Curious - Think outside the box and innovate on our various event formats. There is more than one way to skin a cat. 

Smart - Ability to keep  calm and level headed when faced with issues while always thinking of the most effective next steps.

Responsible - Manage your own time and projects and take ownership of our events strategy. 


Required experience:

              

  • Experience in event management
  • Experienced problem solver - events management is a turbulent world.
  • Technical experience running online webinars 
  • Experience in working alongside multiple teams and regions
  • Confidence to be a visionary - you will get the ability to make your dreams a reality.
